1300 Caroll Ave

National Register of Historical Places Sign

If the 13 in 1300 doesn’t creep you out, I don’t know what will. Caroll Avenue is one of Los Angeles first suburbs. It’s full of Victorian manors and is still used as private homes.

The entire block of Caroll Avenue is listed under the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the houses on this block have been prominent houses in different television series and this whole block is famous for the ending of Michael Jackson “Thriller” music video.

Charmed House

I’m easily creeped out by the supernatural or old looking homes. The first, and only time, I went, I had goosebumps all over my arms. Though these houses have a lot of charm, I’m sure they have a lot of history it wants to tell. The only thing that kept me grounded, was the fact that the houses are 19th century houses, but the cars parked on the street were from this century; I thought that was hysterical.
